Acknowledgements

We acknowledge the strength and resilience of all victims and survivors of child sexual abuse and exploitation, regardless of ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, age or ability. Your strength is incredible. This project is for you.

We affirm that efforts to combat child sexual abuse must be informed by the voices and lived experience of victims and survivors.

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and recognise the continuing connection to lands, waters, and communities. We pay our respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.

We acknowledge those in law enforcement who are on the frontline working to protect our most vulnerable, who see, hear and witness the horrific acts committed against victims and survivors, not only here in Australia, but across the world. We also acknowledge those who work alongside law enforcement, to support their work, but also who support the victims and survivors of these crimes.
